Mr. Wallace
8th Grade U.S. History
Yearbook
Cross Country Coach
Background
This is my 13th year at EVMS. I taught 2 years of 8th grade English before moving into the content that I love the most: U.S. History. I am also the Yearbook Advisor and Cross Country coach.
I have a B.S. in Secondary Education with majors in English and History and a Master’s Degree in K-12 Literacy. I was in the U.S. Army/Army Reserves for 10 years as a Combat Medic (91B) and was attached to a Combat Engineer Unit at Fort Richardson, Alaska. I was lucky enough to spend 1 year as a Drill Sergeant, and later was a member of the 396th Combat Support Hospital in Vancouver Barracks/Spokane, WA. I earned my Paramedic endorsement while with the Hospital.
I am an avid mountain biker/outdoor enthusiast and work at Velo Reno Bicycles in Reno, NV as a mechanic.
