Welcome to the Health class web-page! I am Bonnie Preston and I teach at the middle school I attended years ago! I am licensed and Highly Qualified to teach in Nevada K-12 grades.  I have my Bachelors degree in Social Studies and my Masters in Teaching.  I love teaching middle school grades.  It is such a pivotal stage in their lives. Previously, I have taught English, Reading, Social Studies, and Speech & Debate in a mixture of 6th, 7th and 8th grades.  
Currently, I am  teaching 7th grade Health and Speech & Debate.  
My Health class is one semester and trades off with computers/keyboarding with Mr. Hampton.  At the beginning of the semester, each student needs one composition notebook for my class. We have terrific discussions in class about many topics, please ask your student what the topic was that day!  There will be THREE homework assignments in my class where your student needs to "interview" you as a parent and get your signature so please look for those.
