Certified positions are those that require a Nevada educator license. Positions include but are not limited to:

• teachers
• deans

Classified positions are often rooted in skilled trades and do not require a valid Nevada educator license. Positions include but are not limited to:

• Administrative Assistants
• Education support specialists (paraeducators)
• Maintenance and Operations
• Nutrition services
• Transportation
• Technology

Administrative staff are exempt and include principals, assistant principals, directors, assistant directors, mangers, coordinators, etc. These positions may be certified or classified.

Coaching positions include, but are not limited to, high school and middle school head coaches and assistant coaches. You must be at least 21 years of age to be considered for head coach. All applicants are required to have a fingerprint and background check completed prior to hire.

Substitute positions are vital in keeping the district running ​smoothly. Substitute positions include but are not limited to: substitute teachers, substitute nurses, substitute librarians, and substitute office professionals.
